Wild Elderberry Harvest & Pie

What starts with a rainy morning of wild crafting in the swamp ends with a dinner party by candlelight. And the star of the show is Susan’s homemade elderberry pie.

This episode takes you on a journey from harvesting heavy, ripe elderberries (don’t eat them raw!) to baking a pie recipe from Susan’s great aunt Hazel.

Along the way, you’ll learn why elderberries are such a gift from nature, get tips on how to spot them in the wild, and pick up some pie-making tricks from Susan.

It’s elderberry season at Worlds End, and nature is giving, giving, giving. Enjoy the journey of these berries as they find their way to a candlelit dinner party at the farm.
